A slew of new devices have been tacked onto the patent lawsuit in a legal order that was jointly filed by Apple and Samsung today. Included in the devices are Apple's iPhone 5 and Samsung's Galaxy S III.

U.S. Judge Paul Grewal agreed to let both companies add devices to the case, which is scheduled to go to trial on March 31, 2014. The order includes both Apple and Samsung's amended stipulations to their original filings, which are part of Apple's
Galaxy Nexus case and not the patent trial between the two companies that ended last August.

Apple added the Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III with
Android 4.1, Rugby Pro, Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to its list of devices that it believes infringes on its patents, while Samsung tacked on the iPhone 5.

Previously, the Galaxy S III mini was included on the list, but Apple let it slide after Samsung promised not to market or sell the device in the U.S.

CNET contacted Apple and Samsung for comment. We'll update the story when we get more information.

Here's the order filed today:
